

Felix was born on January 30, 1939, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In the 1960s, he moved to New York, where he pursued studies in engineering. He later married his beloved wife, Oreza Plaisir, in New York, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love, faith, and family.
Felix worked as an electrical engineer for New York Telephone, dedicating many years of service before retiring in the early 2000s. Never one to stop learning, he followed his passion for art after retirement. He attended art school in Coral Springs, where he developed his artistic talents and proudly participated in several art exhibitions throughout South Florida. His creativity and love for drawing brought joy to many who experienced his work.
Felix is survived by his loving wife, Oreza Plaisir; his children, Felix Plaisir Jr. spouse/(Heather LaRocco), Cassandra Plaisir, Alain Latortue, Nieces Janice Plaisir, Myrna Plaisir and Ingrid Samedy along with extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on April 18, 2026, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
The Plaisir family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Plaisir and Bernier families, the staff at Coral Springs Hospital, and all relatives and friends who offered their prayers, support, calls, and visits during this time.
