

Gerald "Ricky" Patrick Fitzgerald Jr., a kind-hearted and thoughtful individual, passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on October 30, 1965, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Ricky resided in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Ricky was the beloved and cherished son of Gerald "Jerry" Fitzgerald Sr. and Carol J. Rodovich Fitzgerald. He graduated from John I. Leonard High School, marking the beginning of a life filled with dedication and service.
Ricky spent his career working with the family construction company, where his contributions were greatly valued. He was known for his commitment and hard work, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with.
Survived by his father, Jerry, and stepmother, Pat Fitzgerald, his sister, Debra Jean (Paul) Stewart, and his mother, Carol J. Fitzgerald, and his brother, Christopher Fitzgerald, Ricky was a beloved family member. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
In his personal life, Ricky had a passion for motorcycle riding and enjoyed watching western television shows. He was an avid football fan, particularly of the Miami Dolphins, and loved barbecuing, often bringing joy and laughter to those around him with his culinary skills.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 1655 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, located at 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
