GT as we all knew him was always smiling and positive in life. The team at Citrix will miss him dearly, Our heartfelt condolences to his family and near ones. 

GT made things happen - he got things done - but always calmly and with a smile on his face. 
I had been working with him for only a year when I joined Citrix in APJ. Though he was literally on the other side of the world but still was reachable and showed up to calls at times where nobody - really nobody - expected him to participate.
He was passionate and kind leader who managed to motivate the team in a multinational, multicultural environment. 

I was shocked when I learned he passed away. I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace!


I'd known GT only for a short while, but in our few interactions he came across as a very warm and wonderful human being .. a true gentleman !  We'll miss you GT, may you rest peacefully.

It was an honor to work for GT, I would have followed him anywhere, and I will miss him every day.

GT was always there to help with our business or personal problems, helping in such a way that we came to a solution together and learned 'how to fish' from the experience.  It will be much harder without GT but he has provided us with the tools we need to be successful without him - he was very proud of this.

Nothing was impossible for GT. He really got excited by the most challenging problems. When others gave up, GT found solutions - not excuses. He just thought differently to everybody else and that made him the best problem solver in the business.

But most of all, GT was like family to me and many others. I am where I today thanks to GT and his support. GT was like a brother to me and I would do anything for him.

GT!! a humble charismatic leader who genuinely and generously cared for others... such a noble soul and he will be missed so dearly.  

I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work under his leadership for close at a year. He has  been a constant source of inspiration and motivation for me. It is heartbreaking to think that he’s no more with us and I owe deep debt of gratitude to him. 

GT, you will remain in our prayers and will be remembered for ever. May your soul rest in peace.

Guillermo, or as I will always call him...Mimito, was an extraordinary human being. A good son, cousin, nephew, friend, etc.  He was always open to hear you out and to lend a helping hand.   Mimito is no longer with us, but his soul will always, always accompany us.  He has and will for ever have a special place in my heart.  Rest in peace my angel Mimito.

GT was a great and memorable colleague and mentor, and I will miss him.

He had a unique ability to inject positive energy into any situation and help form bonds between teams and coworkers. GT was never afraid to dive into the deep end of any situation or challenge and demonstrated a servant-leadership mentality.

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we found out of the sudden passing of Guillermo. 
He was a great friend, hard worker, and a great sense of humor. One of his slogan was work hard and play hard. 
May his family have peace and comfort during these difficult times.

It was a true pleasure to know and work with GT. Always so generous with his knowledge and guidance. I will miss his humor and lightheartedness the most. We will miss him dearly.

I am really saddened by the passing of GT. He was an awesome colleague, very collaborative and had a calm demeanor even during times of stressful deadlines. I had the privilege of working with him on several projects over the years and very recently we teamed up on an initiative to support our Cloud market in Japan. A very pleasant human being to be around and we will really miss him. Sincere condolence to the family and praying for God’s comfort during this painful period of mourning.

GT was one of the nicest, most professional people I’ve ever had the chance to work with.  Always ready to offer helpful suggestions and to help solve any challenge.  He will be greatly missed.

This is a sad day and I am extremely saddened by this loss. I recall GT as always happy and full of joy and energy. My sincere condolences go to the family and friends. 

I am very saddened to hear the news of GT's passing...he was a great colleague and human. Wishing you strength during this challenging time. 

GT was a friend and a colleague, but most importantly an amazing human being. I regret I had not kept in touch with him over the past 2 years but I also am glad I had the opportunity to get to know him and work with him. I will miss his sense of humor, his optimism and his warmth. My condolences to all his loved ones.

GT was part of my life for the last seven years. He was much more than a mentor, he was a true friend and I will deeply miss him. 

I am not sure what to say, it feels like I have lot an older brother. His larger than life presence can never be replaced.
He has impacted my life in the most positive way, on hearing of his demise I felt lost.

I was so sad to hear of the sudden passing of Guillermo. I have very fond memories of Guillermo. I can still remember his first time at the office in Aruba! Guillermo was always so professional, so generous and such a good friend. Thank you Guillermo for all you have done for us, your humor and all your friendly advices.

Guillermo is so deeply integrated to where I am today. I went to Puerto Rico for work and ended up living there for 3 years. Guillermo welcomed me with both hands and  treated me like a family member, taught me about the culture and the language and mentored me as a professional which eventually brought me to where I am today. He taught me my first two spanish sentences - Una Cerveza por favor and otra cerveza por favor!

You will be dearly missed buddy until we meet again!
