He was born in Nairobi, Kenya and is survived by his loving wife Hansa, son Dhiren, grandchildren Kiran and Devin, brothers Jaswant Chauhan, Kanti Gopalju, Satish Chauhan and Raju Chauhan, sisters Sushila Parmar and Bharti Champaneria.
