Jan Jung passed away peacefully on June 18, 2017 in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Born on June 27, 1925 in France he was the son of the late Roman and Adelaide (Heppner). Jan was an entrepreneur and a business owner with a passion for travel. He was a hard worker who believed that everything in life must be earned. Jan was committed to his family. He was a true survivor of life’s many trials and tribulations, a concentration camp (Dachau) and a cancer survivor to name a few. Jan personified all that is courage and strength in the face of life’s challenges. He never allowed obstacles to define him! He was a man that was admired by many. Jan lived and died on his own terms.
Jan is preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Jung (Kwasniewicz) loving mother to his two daughters and his late step-son Andrzej Drewniak (Teresa Drewniak). Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Waclawa, his sister Elizbieta Nowaczyk, daughters Romana (Jerzy) Kossak, Ursula (Lech) Nagoda, his grandchildren, Kasia (Vince) DeFazzio, Maggie (Zoran) Jovanovich and great grandchild, John DeFazzio.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 22, 2017, 2:00-3:00 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00pm.”
