She attended Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx and then went on to receive a degree in Business Administration from Iona College.
She married her soulmate, Ray Jimenez on August 27, 1993 in New York. Jane was the proud mother of twin boys Josh and Randy whom she cherished and adored dearly. She doted over them day and night.
She moved to Florida and Georgia where she raised her family.
Later on Dennis (her dog) joined the family and they became inseparable.
She was well known for her hospitality, her infectious smile and her tasteful cooking (pastelitos, and others). One of her greatest joys was to be with her sons. Family and faith in the lord were important aspects of her life. On any given day you could hear her singing one of her favorite songs “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley - Don’t worry ‘bout a thing ‘cause every little thing gonna be all right.
According to her sons she made jokes that made ‘her’ laugh!
Her loving kindness could only be equaled and could not be excelled.
Jane went home to be with the Lord on May 20th, 2018. During her life she was referred to by Cookie, Janie, Cook Cooks. For all those who knew her, Cookie was known as a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sister, auntie, true friend and avid Yankee fan.
Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Ray; her children Josh and Randy; her father Thomas LeBlanc; her brother Leo LeBlanc; her half-brother Stephen Abraham; her sisters Patricia David, Julie LeBlanc-Braker; her half-sister Gloria Bartley; her sisters-in-law Daisy Jimenez, Nana Medina, Judy Jimenez, and her brothers-in-law Johnny Duran, William Medina, her mother-in-law Siana Jimenez and her dog Dennis, countless cousins, relatives and friends.
To our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter-in-law and friend. You’ve touched our lives in so many ways. You gave unconditionally and never looked for love in return. We will miss you dearly but know that you have gone to be with our Heavenly Father. Until we meet again, we will forever honor your memory and keep you close in our hearts.
-Your loving husband and family
