Janis graduated from Hastings High in Hastings on the Hudson, NY, and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Barry University in Miami, FL.
Throughout her career, Jan dedicated herself to education, working for St. Andrew Catholic School.
On February 6, 2018, she married W. Douglas Armstrong. Janis is survived by her children, Thomas John Romano and Daniel James Romano, and her beloved grandchildren, Dominic John Romano, Aria Romano, and Harper Romano. She is also survived by her siblings, Steve Randazzo and John Randazzo.
Jan had a passion for arts and crafts and was an avid of the Miami Dolphins fan.
Her commitment to community was evident through her active participation as a member of the Women's Club, the Emmaus Club, and as an honorary member of the Men's Club.
Janis Marie Randazzo-Armstrong will be remembered fondly by her family, friends, and community for her dedication, passion, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
