Maxwell, John Richard, 71, of Margate, passed away March 14, 2016. John was born July 23, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Robert and Marion (Bursey) Maxwell. His life was devoted to his grandchildren, watching them grow and nurturing them. He was predeceased by his siblings, Robert Maxwell, Fred Maxwell and Doris Zeman. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Anne, daughter, Sharon (Harlan) Gillary, son, Scott (Kimberly) Maxwell, grandchildren, Patrick and Connor Meere, Dakota Gillary, Brianna, Jonathan & Logan Maxwell, sister-in-law, Virginia Maxwell, brother-in-law, Robert (Marge) Myers, brother-in-law, Joseph Zeman and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2016, 2:00 – 5:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs.
