I had the extreme pleasure & honor of meeting & working with Joe in 1964 at Food Fair in Philly. We lost contact when I moved to FL in 1970 and thankfully hooked up again a few years ago. Joe was, by far, one of the nicest (with a devilish twinkle in his eyes), most sincere people I have ever known. I really regret the time that that I lost track of Joe & Sheila, and am grateful for our being able to "break bread" over the last couple of years. I know that Joe is in heaven & hope that that gives some comfort to Sheila and the children. You'll be greatly missed, my friend!

Joe and I have been lifelong friends since we first met in 6th grade at St. Athanasius grade school. We played poker, golf, went down the shore and up the Poconos and just about everywhere together. Joe was in my wedding party. Joe always had a friendly smile and great conversation to share. I'll never forget you Joe. Rest in Peace. My sincerest sympathy to Joe's beloved Sheila, and children.

We didn't get to know our son-in-law Sean's father very well but the time we did get to spend with Joe and Sheila was so nice. Joe had a great sense of humor and I could tell by all the relatives around him how much he was loved. Joe is now in heaven and God bless his family with beautiful memories and peace
