Judy is survived by her children Julie Metevia and spouse Pam; Jennifer Caruso and spouse Steven; grandchildren Noah and Reese Metevia-Elders; sister JoAnn Wolpert and spouse Jim; and brother John R. Ryll. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Metevia, and her parents Frances Triple and John Ryll.
Judy was born on June 16, 1950, in Saginaw, MI, to John Ryll and Frances Collins. She married Joseph Metevia in 1970 and they settled in Saginaw where Judy worked as a hairdresser. They had two children who they raised in Michigan until 1984, when the family moved to South Florida. While living in Florida, Judy built a career working as a dedicated manager at Albertson’s grocery store for many years and she was known as an extremely hard worker. Her children remember her as loving and fiercely devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy was a strong-minded person with integrity, and she was not afraid to speak up for what she felt was right. She was extremely generous to those she loved, and she always put family first. She is loved beyond measure and will be missed tremendously.
