Julie Anne Hurst

HURST, JULIE ANNE, 53 of Parkland, Florida died at her home on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. A loving and outgoing Mother and member of our community, Julie did everything she could to put a smile on the faces of others. She was born in Miami, Florida and is survived by her loving husband Mason, Children Madison Taylor, Austin Parker and Mackenzie Nicole, Parents Samuel and Linda Nettles, Brother William Carl Nettles and Ronald Allen Nettles, Niece Shannon and Nephew Timmy. Julie was an extremely dedicated and visible member of the public school volunteer community in Broward County. She was previously President of the Riverglades Elementary PTA, President of the Westglades Middle School PTA, Volunteer Coordinator for the Stoneman Douglas Marching Eagles Parent Association, Eagle Regiment Field Crew, Pompano Beach High School Debate Team and recipient of the Broward County Schools 15-year Service Award. Friends may gather at the KRAEER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL., on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M., Funeral Service will be 11 A.M., Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 1st United Methodist 8650 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, FL.
