Boccard, Lisa D. 57, of Coral Springs, went to be with the Lord June 2, 2019. Lisa was born January 16, 1962 in Miami Beach, Florida to Jean L. Friend Boccard and the late Matthew L. Boccard. Lisa was very instrumental in the Lisa Boccard Breat Cancer Fund which was founded in 2003 by Lisa's brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Terry Boccard in support of her fight with breast cancer. The mission of the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund is to provide funding for care that may otherwise be unattainable for the women in our community to obtain screening mammograms and breast treatments if necessary. A women's ability to receive a free breast treatment is not conditioned on her ordering any other item or service from Broward Health or it's medical staff. The Lisa Boccard Fund has been fortunate over the years to benefit from many Community Partners. This has allowed us to screen over 2000 women of which over 90 have been identified with breast cancer. These women have received treatment and thankfully are still alive today. Lisa was predeceased by her father and her beloved uncle, the Most Reverend William B. Friend. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Jean, brothers and sisters-in-law, Matthew and Brenda Boccard, Vince and Terry Boccard, fiancé, Claudio Sad, nephews, James Addis, Nicholas Addis, niece, Sophia Boccard, great niece, Ava Addis and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6, 2019, 4:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Mass of Christian Rite will be celebrated on Friday, June 7, 2019, 12:00 Noon at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 9950 NW 29th Street, Coral Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund, c/o Broward Health Coral Springs, 3000 Coral Hills Drive, Attn: Community Education, Coral Springs, FL 33065, www.browardhealth.org/lisaboccardfund or by calling 954-344-3344.

Lisa has always had a special place in my heart, we attended elementary school and high school together. I admired her ability to make anyone feel welcomed and included. I quickly learned this is a family trait. I have shared many of my memories of Lisa with my family because I cherish our friendship. I am a better for knowing her, because Lisa brought light into my life with her beauty and warmth. My sincere condolences, to Mrs. Boccard, Vincent, Matthew and all the family. May you feel peace and comfort through the light of Christ.

I first met Lisa through my mom at the 2017 Glam Strut-a-thin in Ft.L. Her sweet smile and explaining to me her story filled me with hope and gratitude for meeting her. Most of us turn to isolation when diagnosed with an illness. Lisa decided to help others. I’m sad she’s gone but thankful I met her. May God bless you with peace sweet Lisa. Where you are now, you no longer suffer from illness or pain. May He shine his glory over you. I pray for your family left behind, may they find comfort that Lisa blessed so many of us with her presence. ❤️

Lisa always had a smile and something positive to share her entire life. We worked at Eagle Realty together and Lisa had never changed from when I met her over 40 years ago. She remained a beautiful soul that touched so many and cared deeply for her friends and family. You will be sorely missed Lisa by so many. May you Rest In Peace 💖

I am so sad to read of Lisa's death. Having had the opportunity to care for her many years ago when she first faced her diagnosis I wanted to reach out to her family and extend my sincere condolences. My thanks to Lisa for teaching me how to face a cruel disease at her young age with dignity, wit and courage. She certainly left an indelible memory that I know made me a better person and hopefully a better doctor.
