With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Louis Ferrari, a beloved father, father in law, husband, son, brother, uncle and grandfather who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. On July 18th, he peacefully departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, inspiration, and cherished memories. Survived by his sister Ida, children James, Carol, Lori and John, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, his profound impact on their lives is immeasurable.
Born on September 7, 1931 in New York City, he began his life’s journey with brilliance, graduating from Samual Gompers High School number one in his class, earning him a full scholarship at New York’s City College. Graduating as an electrical engineer, he pursued a career developing and designing guidance systems for aircraft, rockets and spacecraft. His crowning achievement was as the Project Manager for NASA’s Space Shuttle guidance system.
Louis was a devoted family man, and together with his beloved wife, Patricia, created a loving home for his four children in northern New Jersey, providing them with a solid foundation to meet life’s challenges both physically and spiritually.
We bid farewell to Louis and find comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his beloved Patricia, finding eternal peace together. Their love will forever shine upon us as we continue our life’s journey, holding clear the memories of a remarkable man who shaped our lives with love and laughter.
Rest in peace Louis, your love will be forever missed but forever cherished.
