Lourdes Migdalia Picon

Lourdes Migdalia Picon, a compassionate and kind-hearted individual, passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 70. Lourdes was born on May 8, 1955, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to her predeceased parents, Alberto Cruz and Gladys Ruiz. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who lived a full and meaningful life in Coral Springs, Florida.

Lourdes pursued her education with dedication, earning a Bachelor's Degree, and she went on to have a successful career as an accountant at Extra Supermarkets. Her professional life was marked by a commitment to excellence and integrity.

She shared 55 wonderful years with her husband, Antonio Picon, with whom she was married for 49 years. Together, they raised four children and were blessed with three grandchildren, who brought immense joy to Lourdes' life.

In her personal life, Lourdes had a passion for decorating her home for holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. She loved to cook and often rearranged the furniture in her house. Online shopping was a favorite pastime, with Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and Home Goods being her preferred stores. Lourdes enjoyed talking on the phone, watching reality TV shows, and listening to mariachi music. Her love for family and her ability to connect with anyone she met were truly remarkable.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 330716026, on August 9, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at the same venue from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Lourdes will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her generous spirit.
