Mason Alexander Howell

Our baby boy, our pride and joy left us in his sleep while laying by our sides. There are no words to describe the pain, emptiness, and guilt that we are feeling right now. Although his life was short, he has made the biggest impact on the lives of Heather and I, his brother Anthony, family and friends, and even strangers alike. He couldn't walk or talk, but he could smile and that smile has brought joy to so many and even with his passing, he has brought people together and helped connect and reconnect old friends and new. We would like to call him our creation, but in reality he is God's creation and God has a different plan for our son and has called Mason to Heaven for a purpose that we don't and will never understand. We can all rest easy knowing that our precious baby boy lived an extremely happy life and left us with a huge smile on his face knowing that we were all a part of that and surrounded by all of the love and attention that we all gave him. Mason wants you to know that he loves you and and even on our worst days, to remember his smile or giggle to help ease our pains in life. Mason will never be forgotten and will be carried in our hearts everyday for the rest of our lives, teaching us the innocence of love and its boundless freedom.
