Slater, Maureen T., 79, of Coral Springs, passed away January 30, 2016. Maureen was born June 7, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Stephen and Beatrice (Hogan) Sullivan. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Robert Slater, children, Thomas Henkel, James (Lisa) Henkel, Stephen (Carolyn) Henkel, Maureen (Debra) Henkel, grandchildren, Jessica (Anders) Larson, Alaina Henkel, Coral Henkel, Hannah Henkel, Sullivan Henkel, Callahan Henkel, Donovan Henkel and great grandson, Miles Larson. A Mass of Christian Rite will be celebrated Wednesday, February 3, 2016, 10:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1401 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs.In lieu of flowers family requests contributions be made to The Covenant House
