Brassington, Michael Anthony John, 80, of Coral Springs, passed away March 26, 2017 after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Michael was born October 22, 1936 in Guyana to the late Edward and Walterine (Muir) Brassington. He worked in the banking industry for many years. In his younger years, in Guyana, he was an avid Cricket Player. He enjoyed golf, racing motorcycles, swimming and above all eating his wife's wonderful cooking. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 48 years, Gloria, daughters, Lucianna Brassington, Marilu (Xavier) Brassington-Calvez, sons, Michael Brassington, Paul Brassington, adored grandchildren, Eva Calvez, Luke Calvez, sister, Margot Muir, sister-in-law, Esther Brassington and brother-in-law, Dave Donald. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, 12:00 - 1:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00pm.
