Michael L. Marino Sr.

Marino, Michael L. Sr., 96, passed away November 17, 2013. Michael was born October 11, 1917 in New York, New York to the late Simone and Carmella (Sinagra) Marino. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WW II. After 27 years of loyal employment, he retired from the New York, Department of Sanitation. He was a member of the American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars and the Italian-American Club of Tamarac. Michael was predeceased by his son, Joseph Marino, daughter-in-law, Carol Marino and ten siblings. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years, Theresa, sons, Michael (Jennifer) Marino Jr., Charles Marino, daughter-in-law, Cheryl Marino, grandchildren, Richard Marino, Scott (Ashley) Marino, Dawn (Todd) Smith, Dina (Michael) Marino Klein, Harmony (Carl) Schneider, great grandchildren, Olivia, Jake & Sienna Smith, Catherine & Ellette Schneider. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, 4:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Mass of Christian Rite will be celebrated Wednesday, November 20, 2013, 10:30am at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 8279 Sunset Strip, Sunrise.
