Mitra Ramsamooj

He was multifaceted at many things including being a fleet manager and truck driver for Amoco and a teacher for the Department of Education in New York City. He was a restaurant manager and a bus driver for schools and public transportation.

On May 12th, 1990 he married Vashty Ramlakhan and they raised two sons, Niraj and Devaj, who he loved dearly. He remarried Shanti Sahadeo on September 11th, 2019 and loved and embraced her daughters, Reshma and Bindiya, as his own children. He was a loving soul that brought light to everyone he met. He always had a smile and spread unconditional happiness to others. He was always willing to help anyone that he met whole heartedly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sookdeo, and his eldest brother Kishore. He was survived by his mother, Sookdiah, his wife, Shanti, and his 4 children, Niraj, Devaj, Reshma, and Bindiya. He was also survived by his seven brothers, Ramadheen, Geetram, Ravideen, Delip, Chandprakash, Vinay, and Ojar.

A funeral service will be held on February 19th 2021 at Kraeer Coral Springs Funeral Home at 8 am.
