Silvera, Olive Teresa, 90, of Broward County area, went to be with the Lord, June 24, 2016. Olive was born in Kingston, Jamaica on April 19, 1926 to the late Adrian and Daisy (Phipps) McGlashan. Olive enjoyed cooking especially her native Caribbean specialties, reading and gardening. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Oscar. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Althea Silvera, sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Barbara Silvera, Patrick & Judith Silvera, Oscar & Faye Silvera, grandchildren, Stephen (Danielle) Silvera, Megan Silvera, Brandon ( Candace) Silvera, Keegan Silvera, great grandchildren, Cameron Silvera, Charlotte Silvera, Dorian Silvera and sister, Gloria Nugent. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016, 11:00am at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs.
