

Opal is survived by her four Daughters, Debbie Krivacek (Joe), Georgia Trainer (Widowed), Bonnie Hamilton (William), and Mary Lou Robinson (Diane). She is preceded in death by her Husband, Michael and eight (8) siblings.
Opal was born on December 6, 1927 in Mammoth, PA to Pearl and Harrison Myers. She graduated from Herst High School. She married Michael on May 1st, her high school sweetheart in 1948. Soon after marriage the couple welcomed Debbie 1949, Georgia 1950 and Bonnie 1951 and Mary Lou 1961 into their home. Her daughters remember her as a kind, gentle, patient, and very loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Opal was a gifted poet who won awards for spelling and penmanship. She was an individual who loved her girls and who was passionate about enjoying life through dance. She was a dedicated member of the Roman Catholic Church, who practiced her faith by aiding those less fortunate than herself.
Interment of Ashes will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a later date. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Opal’s life.
