

Robert Ager Foster, age 83, passed away on February 3rd, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Catherine Foster, of Coral Springs; his daughters, Susan Euler and Cathy Gonzalez, also of Coral Springs; and Nancy Hoffman, of Jacksonville; his sons-in-law, Eric Gonzalez, of Coral Springs; and Michale Hoffman, of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Euler and Amanda Gonzalez of Coral Springs; and Brandon Hoffman, of Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Elinore Foster of Yonkers, New York; and his in-laws, Dominic and Carmela Finizio, also of Coral Springs.
Bob was born on May 8th, 1938, in Yonkers, New York, to parents George and Elinore Foster. He graduated from Fordham University with a degree in business and went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Catherine Finizio. Together they raised 3 children; Susan, Cathy, and Nancy.
In 1971, Bob moved the family to Coral Springs, Florida, where they enjoyed a full and happy life for many years. Bob was a lover of all things music, theater, and Disney. He was a talented musician, playing his trombone and baritone in several different local bands and orchestras. He also loved to sing, and he shared his voice by participating in a local choir. There were many family vacations to Disney World and Naples, Florida, with many lifelong friendships and happy memories made along the way. He was also an active parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Bob was a man who never met a stranger. He was full of love, light, and positivity. He loved his family, his friends, and God. He was always there when you needed him, to offer advice or just to listen, and he never missed an opportunity to make you laugh. He was the best husband, father, and grandfather that anyone could have asked for. He was a blessing to our family and will forever be in our hearts.
