Words cannot explain my deep sadness on the passing of Dr. Colon, my brilliant professor, and my dissertation chair. Dr. Colon was exemplary as was evident in her passion for academia, and commitment to her students. Almighty God, please grant the family of Dr. Colon the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Rest in peace Dr. Colon, may God’s perpetual light shine on your gentle soul.

There aren’t enough words to describe how much my heart aches. We’ve been “sisters” since grade school. We’ve laughed and cried together. Girl, we’ve shared everything. Distance and time were no match for us! We were just a phone call away. We’d say “Hey Girl” and went in. We’d always ended our calls with I Love You!
There is no way for me to reach you now; except in my heart!

My Bold, Brilliant, Beautiful, Fearless and Loving sister; you’ve touched so many lives over the years. I’m certain that they will never be the same. To be honest, neither will I.

In my mind, you’re dancing with Gus, the love of your life. I know that the both of you will be watching over your sons!
Quentin and Cristian, my heartfelt condolences to you on the loss of your Mother. You both were her joy. She was proud of the men you’ve become! Sleep In Peace Rosie!

My heart is broken and aching to learn of Dr. Colon's passing. Dr. Colon was my champion, support, guide, and pillar through my dissertation journey at Nova Southeastern University, without her I could not have made it through. I can not forget the many hours we spent together. I have lost my friend, my professor, and my dissertation chair. What a prillege to learn from and be guided by such a great professr! Dr. Colon meant so much to me. I have no words to express the pain in my heart.
My prayers and thoughts are with her sons and family as a whole. May the Almighty God comfort and support you during this difficult time.
I will forever nurture the memories and will forever miss you, Dr. Colon, my academic giant. Mourning such a wonderful professor!

My condolences to Dr. Colon family, as I am so deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I was one of her students, and we last spoke on 8/26/20 to discuss my thesis. I'm sitting in disbelief, but have faith she is one of God's Angels watching over her loved ones. Dr. Colon will always have a special place in my heart.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Rest in peace my Sister. We had a lot of fun traveling and playing in the band at Jefferson Davis High school. Your night for weeping is over, your morning for joy has come.

Rose, I am reading this and am still in disbelief that you are gone my best and dearest sweet friend. We went from high school buddies at Jeff Davis to lifetime sister friends until you were called home. The light in my life has dimmed with your passing, but God and Gus needed you with them and I know you are at peace. I miss you tremendously, and will love and remember you always.

Quentin and Cristian, I am so deeply sorry for the passing of your sweet mom. Know that my heart aches for you two and I pray that God comforts you during this most difficult time. Please know that I am just a phone call away should you need me.
