Parks, Russell Austin, 87, of Coral Springs, went to be with the Lord November 27, 2017. Russell was born August 15, 1930 in Cresskill, New Jersey to the late George Edward and Marion Ellen (Cook) Parks. Russell served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force as a Pilot and retired in 1971 after 20 years of loyal service with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He and his family relocated to South Florida in 1971 after his retirement and he enjoyed reading, gardening, nature and golf. He also enjoyed the views of North Carolina. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Marlene, daughters, Lisa King, Debbie Parks, granddaughter, Jessica King, grandson, Adam King, and niece, Linda Ellen Anderson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, 3:00pm at Christ Church, 10021 West Sample Road, Coral Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Russell's memory to Christ Church Coral Springs or Lew Body Dementia Association @ www.lbda.org
