Scott Timothy Stauffer

Scott Timothy Stauffer, 57, of Coral Springs, FL, passed away on April 10, 2018. Scott was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA, and received his bachelor's degree from Elizabethtown College and his doctorate from Virginia Tech. Scott worked as an information technology specialist for healthcare providers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Kathy, and his daughters Sarah, Kelly, and Karen. He is also survived by his sister, Selisa Stauffer. Scott enjoyed classic cars, church music ministry, and spending quality time with his family.

His life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm on April 22, 2018, at First Church of Coral Springs (8650 W Sample Road, Coral Springs, FL 33065). He will be laid to rest in Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held at Stony Brook Mennonite Church on May 12, 2018 at 2:00 pm in York, PA. In lieu of flowers, Scott's family requests that donations be made in his name to First Church of Coral Springs or to the Music Ministry at First Church of Coral Springs. Arrangements are entrusted to Kraeer Funeral Home in Coral Springs, FL.

Our professional Family grows smaller. The connectivity grows stronger. Each individual's memories of a sibling become more vivid.

Scott helping Intel, San Jose, automate the analytical facility in their new sub-micron fab facility.

Scott giving me the information, and courage, to tell the Head of our Communication and Network Services that she was technically incompetent.

Scott becoming the Czar of the lab's computer and phone network.

Scott and Black Mark; irresistible, immovable.

Scott, and Dave Hooley, both resigning independently from what had become Lancaster Labs on the same day, for the same reasons.

Scott navigating the shoals and sands of career choices- bio-analytical information data bases, digital distribution of multiplex media material, electronic health records- ALL still in flux, still immature, all challenging.

Scott, and his care and love for his Pennsylvania family, and his Florida family.
