Shirley was a good friend and neighbor who we lived nearby for 12 years. We had in common that we were both from the same area of the country as she was. She was a cat lover, and took care of our cat Marco when we had to go out of town to visit family. We enjoyed talking with her and spending time with her on many occasions. It was a pleasure  to be of assistance to her in different ways over the years.  She came to our youngest daughter's  wedding, and also spent Thanksgiving dinner with us one year. We also enjoyed meeting various friends of hers. We were sad to have to move away and leave her four years ago. We spoke with her last, about two or three weeks ago. She will be much missed and remembered. She did kind things for people over her lifetime. May Shirley rest in peace. We are blessed to have been a part of her life. Condolences to all who knew her.
