Rugani, Sonny David, 17, of Coral Springs, went to heaven on September 4, 2019. Sonny was born May 31, 2002 in Hawthorne, California and was a student at Coral Springs High School. He loved baseball and he was a natural athlete especially in baseball, basketball & track. You will not be forgotten. How can we forget your laugh, smile and hugs. And when he wanted to he was a big hugger. We grieve right now but as time goes on we will smile and laugh. Boy could he make us laugh. He loved shoes. I’m sure the first thing he will ask for up there is a pair of Yeezies. Probably will make a trade to get them. And I hope they have a spot on a baseball team. We still can’t get all that rap music out of our head. And boy could he turn on the charm. It was easy to say yes to him. He loved nice clothes. There better be a Supreme store up there. Sonny you don’t have to worry now. We were always proud to call you son. Everyone loved you. Please always watch over your sister. Your bond was unbreakable. We miss you. Rest easy. He was preceeded in death by his grandfathers, Bruno Rugani & John Corkery. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, David & Denise Rugani, sister, Nikki Rugani, niece, Luna, grandmothers, Irene Rugani & Melicent White, aunts & uncles, John & Melinda Rugani, Georgi & Robert Green, Cindy & Steve Denomme, Michael & Maggy Corkery, serveral cousins and many friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14, 2019, 1:00 - 2:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Sonny's memory to www.davethomasfoundation.org

I only met Sonny once or twice, for brief visits at his grandmother, Irene's house, but he was one who instantly impressed with his skill and love of baseball, his intelligence, and his hopes for the future. It's hard to believe and so sad to realize this bright young man is no longer with us. My deepest condolences to his family, my cousins. Sonny will be missed, but will forever remain in our hearts.

Sonny’s personality was larger than life. We knew him for a brief time, but we will cherish those memories dearly. He was extremely kind, courteous, and was protective of our son Jacob. The photo was taken at at an LA Dodger game. Sonny touch our lives and we will miss him ♥️♥️
