Born on September 28, 1955, to Harvey and Eva Rogers, Steve spent his early years in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. At age five, he moved with his family to Upland, California, which he called home throughout his youth and much of his adulthood. There, Steve built a successful career in the insurance industry, eventually retiring as a Regional Sales Trainer. Over the years, he earned numerous sales and training awards, reflecting his skill, dedication, and accomplishments. In 2017, he semi-retired and relocated to Coral Springs, Florida.
Outside of work, Steve found great joy in woodworking. Among the many pieces he created, the one he cherished most was a baby cradle made for his granddaughter, Abbie, later passed down to Abbie’s sister, Aubrie - a lasting heirloom that reflected his love for family.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Eva Rogers; his brother, Richard Rogers; and his stepdaughter, Michelle Barkley.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Carol Ann Ferrari-Rogers; his daughters, Keli Zuniga (Renan) and Ami Francoz (Adrian); and his stepdaughter, Andrea Glasgow (Don). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gentry (Craig), Taylor Zuniga, Abbie Francoz, Aubrie Francoz, Hailey Glasgow, Joshua Glasgow, and Mandy Glasgow, as well as his great-grandson, Jack Harvey Gentry.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Episcopal Church of St. Mary Magdalene & St. Martin in Coral Springs, Florida. A repass will immediately follow the service in the parish hall. Internment is planned for early spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Barnegat, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
