Venkatachalam Ayyar Narayanan

V. Narayanan is survived by his daughter Rema Deo, son-in-law Sanjay Deo, grandsons Akash and Akhil, and his extended family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife K. Sankari – after being happily married for 45 years.

V. Narayanan was born on January 28, 1932 to P.V. Iyer and Laxmi in Kottayam, Kerala, India. He graduated as an automobile engineer in 1954. He married K. Sankari in 1966. He worked for the majority of his career for Larsen & Toubro Ltd. In Mumbai, India, specializing in the supervision and planning of the transport of large consignments over long distances.

V. Narayanan was referred to fondly by his family members as Kunjanna. His daughter remembers him as a kind, ever supportive and witty father who always encouraged her to pursue her goals. His siblings remember him as an innovative brother who always put his engineering skills to good use by finding creative solutions to problems. His son-in-law remembers him as a father figure. His grandsons remember him as a loving grandparent who took care of them, fed them, and always wanted them to aim for great heights.

A memorial service for V. Narayanan will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071, followed by a visitation. All are welcome to attend.
