

William L. Cohen was born in Brooklyn, New York, to his late parents, Willie and Flo. He carried with him throughout his life the strength, character, and values that shaped him from his early years.
Bill was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, loyal friend, and member of the Armed Forces. He adored his beautiful wife, Ana Maria, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage. Their life together was filled with love and cherished memories of their bond.
Father to Ziggy and his wife, Ultima, Eric and his wife, Christine. Bill was an amazing grandfather to William Lee, James Edward and Alexander Roman, whose lives brought him great joy and his biggest smiles.
More than 40 years ago, Bill founded Whoops Transport. It was one of the many accomplishments that became part of his legacy.
Through Whoops Transport, he formed meaningful lifelong relationships.
Over the years, those friendships extended to his son, Eric, creating lasting bonds that continue today with Eric at the helm of the family business, carrying forward his father’s legacy.
Bill loved playing cards, especially poker, and enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends.
He had a passion for dining out and loved visiting his favorite Italian restaurants. He appreciated being outdoors under the tiki hut by the pool and spending time in the garage. He enjoyed watching movies and the news.
Bill adored dogs and had a special place in his heart for all of them. His beloved Corgi, Brandy, brought him joy and companionship.
Above all, Bill will be remembered for the love he gave to Ana Maria.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Bill remains alive in more than memory thanks to his children and grandchildren. The love he shared will remain in their hearts forever.
