O'Connor, William Walter "Bill", 83, of Parkland, went to be with the Lord May 18, 2020. Bill was born February 10, 1937 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Catherine (McGee) O'Connor. He has always prided himself as being up on current events. In loving memory of Bill, our friend since 1964 along with his sweet wife, Terry. We all met at a Motorola picnic in Illinois, young newly weds together, and became good friends. We enjoyed dinners at each other's homes, restaurants & plays in Chicago, & Terry & I went shopping together at the mall a few times. It was a joy to see the children when they were born. Bill & Terry were transferred to Florida many years before we were, but when Dan & I moved there too , we quickly enjoyed getting together once more.
When Dan began working at Motorola in 1964, fresh out of college, Bill guided him in the new technology . Dan was always appreciative of Bill's support. Bill was very intelligent.
Bill also was very proud of his family. He spoke so fondly of his children & grandchildren in every Christmas card he ever wrote. It was apparent that he took great pleasure & pride in his large family. I'm sure you were a wonderful comfort to him after he lost your mom.
We are very sorry for your loss. With our love, prayers & deepest sympathy,
Cheryl & Dan Russell
