He was the beloved father of Christopher Snelgrove, also survived by his younger brother, Douglas Snelgrove.
Larry was born in Hollywood, Florida the son of James("Jake") and Vera Davis-Snelgrove.
He loved animals(especially dogs), had many friends growing up, and loved college football("Miami and anyone playing against the Gators"), and was an avid(and picky) movie fan. His favorite musicians were Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Band, Fleetwood Mac, and Billy Joel.
He was in the U.S. Army and graduated from McArthur High School in Hollywood.
After the military, he was employed at Meekins Construction and later at Gainesville in varying fields of construction.
He is survived by his son Christopher, his brother Douglas, his sister in law Karen, and many nieces and nephews.
