BISSONNETTE, Arthur J – passed away peacefully at home on Sunday January 4, 2026 at the age of 79 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Aline (née Bergeron), his daughter Lise MacDonald (Jeff), his son Daniel (Jo-Ann), as well as his four precious grandchildren Christine, Adam, Katherine and Lara. He is also survived by his sister Rita Dagenais (née Bissonnette) and many nieces and nephews. Authur was predeceased by his parents Leopold and Lauretta (née Lashambe), his brothers Georges and Ronald Bissonnette. He is also predeceased by his sister-in-law Laurance Bergeron-Bissonnette, and brothers’-in-law Lionel Bergeron and Hector Dagenais.
His greatest pride and joy were his family and grandchildren. Arthur was a longtime employee of Morbern Incorporated.
Arrangements are entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes – East Branch, 614 First St. E., (613-933-2841). A private family gathering followed by interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Carefor Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
