Bibianne Tessier

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Bibianne Tessier (née St-Germain), peacefully at Hospice Cornwall, surrounded by the love of her family, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the age of 90 years.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 67 years, Cliff Tessier; her children Richard Tessier and Brigitte Tessier; her grandchildren Brandon Tessier, Krista Allaire (Colin), Sophie Turcotte, Bianca Walker, and Julia Walker; her cherished sister Pauline Rochon (late Jacques); her sisters-in-law Marlene Anderson (late Bill), Anita Parthenais (late Gerald) and Joan Allaire (Raymond). She is sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bibianne is predeceased by her parents Wilfrid and Aquilia (née Marcoux) St-Germain, her siblings Bernard St-Germain (late Claire), Roger St-Germain (Thérèse Legault), and Rejeanne St-Germain as well as her sister-in-law Dawn Levac (Donald).

Affectionately known as “Bibs” and “matante Bibi,” Bibianne lived with quiet strength, kindness, and deep devotion to her faith and family. She found joy in gardening and lovingly tending to her flowers, reflecting the care she shared with all who knew her. Her gentle presence will be deeply missed.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the JMP team at CCH and the Cornwall Hospice family for their compassionate care.

As per Bibianne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN EAST BRANCH, 614 FIRST STREET E, CORNWALL (613-933-2841).

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
