Peacefully at home on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Mr. Christopher James Jacobs of Akwesasne; age 55 years. Beloved husband of Cecilia (Johnson). Loving father to chosen daughter the late Theresa Johnson. Cherished grandfather to chosen grandchildren Chuya, Kayzia and Johnny. Loved by his godmother Esther Jock. He will be lovingly remembered by his chosen sister Barbara George, godchildren Heather Thompson, Kathleen Herne and Tracy Johnson, by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jimmy was an awesome basket maker who also enjoyed gardening. He had a large garden and he always donated to his community.
Resting at Homemakers in Snye, Quebec, on Tuesday from 4 pm until time of Funeral Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in St. Regis Church at 2 pm.
