WHITFORD, Elizabeth Jill – with family by her side, Elizabeth passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 83. Loving mother of Leonard Larose, James Larose (Tammy), Cindy Poitras and Timothy Larose (Diane). Cherished grandmother of Adam (Jennifer), Keegan (Catherine), Aaron (Maria), Jonathon and Ricki. Proud great grandmother of Alexander and Abbigail. Daughter of the late Ruben and late Louise (née Malyon) Whitford. Dear aunt of Janie Cryderman (Glen), Michael Woods and Eric Woods (Cindy). Predeceased by her daughter Deborah Larose, by one brother Ruben Whitford and by her three sisters, Doris Gadbois, Gladys White and Rita Woods. Elizabeth will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all.
Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan M. John Sullivan Chapel, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841) on Monday February 2, 2026 from 9 a.m. until time of service. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Monday February 2, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
