

Bergeron, Florence Albertine - Our mom sailed on her final voyage from the Cornwall Community Hospital to her final port-of-call with her God on Friday March 7, 2014. Florence was predeceased by her parents Edme and Rhea (Brisson) Parent, brother Rheal, and husbands Joseph Patrick McCarney and Judge P C Bergeron. She leaves behind son John McCarney (Vanessa) grandson Shane (Amy) great grandchildren Claire and Elise, granddaughter Fallon (Jay) great granddaughter Abby; daughter Carol Vanloon (John) grandsons Joe great grandchild Conner, Chris, Pat (Rosa) great grandchildren Mateo and Mia, John, David; son Steve McCarney (Lynne) grandchildren Breeyn (Kristian), Michael, Meaghan and Tara Frederick (Chris), step grandchildren Chris Mills (Jennifer) step great grandchildren Katie, Ellie and Brody, and Sherri Kinghorn (D’arcy) step great grandchildren Sam and Sawyer; step-son Robert Bergeron (late Rita) (Marilyn) step-grandchildren Dr. Pierre (Lina) and Michael step great grandchildren Zacharie, Gabrielle, Miranda and Michael Jr; step-son Lynn Bergeron (Gwen Blanchard) step-grandchildren Shaun) and Shannon step great grandchildren Ethan and Breana); step-son late Andre Bergeron (Wendy) step grandchildren Miguel and Gregoire; brother Roger (late Lisette); sister Sister Pauline Parent, CND; special niece Madeleine Platana

Mom loved travelling, golfing, playing cards and being a practical joker. She was generous in spirit and showed her great sense of humour and wit through her loving teasing, which she could take as well as she could give. She had a strong faith and was a member of the Filles d’Isabelle and the Catholic Women’s League of Canada.
Family in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street, East, (613-933-2841). Visitation will take place on Friday March 14, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and Saturday March 15 from 12:30 until time of funeral. The Funeral Mass celebrating mom’s life will be held on Saturday March 15 at St Peter’s Catholic Church (corner of Second and Campbell) at 2:30 pm.
