HOUDE, Gabrielle - It is with great sadness the family announces her passing at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday August 18, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Roch Houde. Loving mother of Michel St-Pierre (Dorrie Mosel), Julie Beaudette (Darren), step-mother to Marcel Houde (Chantal) and Nathalie Fortier (Guy). Sadly missed by grandchildren Sebastien, Jean-Francois, Jonathan, Kristen, Nathan, Kyle, Matthew, and Samantha, and by great-grandchildren Louka, Mia, Zoey, Zach, Mason, Nora, and Charlie. Dear sister to Madeleine Golosky (Sye), Hubert Bergeron (late Denise), Reynald Bergeron (late Giselle) and Jean-Pierre Bergeron (Lynne). Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Philippe Bergeron, Fernand Bergeron and Lucien Bergeron. Also grieving are treasured former daughters-in-law Donna Gregoire and Janet Duffy. Cremation has taken place. Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841) on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. As expression of sympathy, memorial donations to charity of choice would greatly be appreciated by the family.
