He was surrounded with family and friends at the Community Hospital to be remembered with a smile.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Bernice (Hebert), "Mon Amie". Cherished father to Henri-Paul (Kelly) Martin, Casselman, Nathaly Dufresne (Paul) and Manon Lortie (Cornwall). Loving grandfather to Jacob, Mathieu, Celeste and Zachary. He was the son of the late Lachlan Marcino and Catherine Gorniak. He also leaves his brother Wayne (Debbie) and nephew Allen.(Kenora) He will be remembered as the first principal of Lifelong Learning Center (St. Mathews H.School,) and the avid golfer and hockey player that he was. Funeral mass will be held at Precious Blood Church in Glen Walter, Thursday Sept 12, 2013 at 11:00am.
Interment will follow at the Nativity Cemetery
