Mr Emard was the owner of the Cornwall Royals when we won the Memorial Cup in 1979,1980. I was privileged to be a member of that team which has always been a great memory for me and for the City of Cornwall. I thank Mr Emard for that opportunity and offer my sincere condolences to his family.

My deepest sympathies to you all.  Mr Emard retired just months before I started working at Tri Co Broadcasting. I had never met him personally, so I thought, but I did meet a really nice man who treated me to a coke, a smile and a few kind words a couple of times a week.  It was only a short time later that Pat Baranowski introduced us and that's when I found out my new friend was none other than Mr Emard himself.  I still enjoyed the odd quick visit over the years in passing.  I highly respected him and will miss bumping into him.

To the Emard Family: My late father (LYAL NIXON) worked for your Dad for many years and always had the highest of respect for him and the radio station. Over the years I have also worked with Paul on many projects, the last one being his retirement cottage on the island. Paul was always a kind and considerate man and will truly be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him. I will miss seeing him as we pass by boat often and had many great visits.(A JOB WELL DONE PAUL)

My sincerest sympathies to the family.  I have been speaking with your dad a great deal lately.  Just last week he and I talked about old times. It is with great sadness that my wife Sheila and I heard about the death of Paul. I worked for many years for him and his family at Tri-Co Broadcasting in Cornwall. I also lived in one of his apartments for many years. He was a good man who will be greatly missed. Our thoughts go out to Anne Marie, Paul (Vincent) and the entire Emard family.
