Sunday, October 11, 2026 after a brief illness. Amelia was 104 years old. Born in Croton-on-Hudson, NY April 11, 1922 to Orazio Anfiteatro and Efisia (nee Zuzolo) Anfiteatro. A life-long resident of Croton, she married Louis Fiaminghi who predeceased her in 2003. Amelia was an avid reader, lover of animals and a dedicated life-long member of Holy Name of Mary Parish and was known to many for her kind and generous nature. She is also predeceased by her siblings Peter (Antionette) Anfiteatro, Anthony Anfiteatro, Filomena (John) Barirde, Vera (Nicholas) Columbo, Dominick (Patricia) Anfiteatro. She is survived by her sister-in-law Lorraine Anfiteatro Radcliff, many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Holy Name of Mary Church, 114 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY from 9 to 10:00 am, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY.
