Dorothy Ann McMahon

Dorothy Ann McMahon, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on September 8, 2026. She was 75 years old. Dorothy was born on June 17, 1951 to the late Milton and Katherine (Lewko) Cymbalisty. Before her retirement, she worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist. Dorothy’s greatest joy came from watching her three grandchildren play, swim and laugh. Billy, Liam and Norah loved going to Grandma’s house for homemade food, their favorite toys and warm hugs. Our mother lived simply enjoying a cup of tea in the early morning while looking outside at her beautiful flowers. She loved family meals, birthday celebrations and telling stories of her life. Her wisdom and sense of humor will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her two children, William McMahon and Dorothy Morales as well as her brother, Jerry Cymbalisty.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
