Helen was predeceased by her husband John H. Roper, and survived by her sons John, Mark and his wife Sandra; along with grandchildren John Roper jr. and his wife Paninat, Erica Alinkofsky and her Husband Matt, Danielle York and her husband Matthew, six great grandchildren, and sister MaryAnn Pizzo along with many nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
Helen (Mom) lived her life marked by her devotion to her family and her faith ,and will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, located at 41 Grand Street, Croton-On-Hudson, NY, on September 13, 2025, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. A Funeral Mass will take place 11:00 am at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520, on September 13, 2025. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass at Bethel Cemetery, Croton-on-Hudson.
