Michael John Kollar

Michael attended Croton-Harmon Schools and graduated from Croton-Harmon High School. He later attended Niagara University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

After graduation, Michael worked for T.W.O.’s Company in Elmsford, New York. He later worked for Curry Honda in Yorktown, New York, before retiring from Mercedes-Benz in 2025 after 24 years of dedicated service.

Michael was an avid sports fan and an excellent golfer who enjoyed spending time on the course.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved father, Richard Kollar, and his brother, Thomas Kollar.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Kollar; his siblings, Christine Maxwell of Buchanan, New York; Susan Kinser of New Douglas, Illinois; and Steven Kollar of Brewster, New York; Lucas Maxwell of Denver, Colorado; Jesse Maxwell of Gypsum, Colorado; and Philip Gibson of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, along with many friends and loved ones.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 29th from 3-7pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, January 30th at 10: 30am at Holy Name of Mary Church, 141 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Interment will be private.
