Mr. Patrick. I'm so so sorry to hear that you are no longer with us! I was home on vacation for 2 weeks when I got this tragic news and was looking forward to seeing you shopping upon my return! It was a pleasure to help you in Shoprite and anywhere you shopped. It was a pleasure to be a Croton neighbor and a bigger pleasure to call you friend! You smile, laugh and warmth, including fist bumps during the pandemic, will be sorely missed. Rest easy my friend. You are now at peace.

My trips to the supermarket will not be the same without seeing you. I know your up there with my Aunt Sandy having a card game already. I can imagine the both of you going back and forth now. I’ve known you since I was a child from being around my family gatherings, playing cards and being our local crossing guard when I was in school. It won’t be the same without hearing those hey Niks. May you Rest In Peace and my condolences to your family and friends on your passing.

When I was a kid, I remember Pat working for the Village of Croton, supporting Croton's softball fields. About 5 years ago, I starting seeing Pat at Croton's Bagel-on-Hudson a few times a week. We always stuck up conversations. Bagels won't be the same. With sadness, Gretchen
