Adeline "Addie" B. Barlog

Addie was born April 16, 1926 in East Chicago, IN to the late Adam and Sophie (Sypulski) Lesniewski. Also preceding her in death are her husband, Roman J. Barlog Sr., son, Gregory Barlog, and brothers, Henry, Bill, and Sig Lesniewski.

Left behind to cherish her memory are, her children Jackie (Pat) Logue, Roman “Ray” (Lynn) Barlog Jr., Mark (Margaret) Barlog, James (Linda) Barlog, grandchildren, Yvette (Tom) Strayer, Austin (Candice) Logue, Lisa Barlog, Tom (Diane) Barlog, Dan (Heather) Barlog, Tony (Toni) Barlog, Amanda (Eric) Sarkady, Samantha (Josh) Roa, great grandchildren, McKenna, Ian, Adeline, Ivy, Macey, Tavin, Rylyn, Juliana, Sophia, Ava, and Helena, siblings, Virginia Popovich, Dolly Bussey, Alfred Lesniewski, sister –in-laws, Vi O’Donnell and Irene Lotzer, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Barlog was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a selfless caregiver to many generations of her family. She was a talented cook, especially polish cuisine, and she showed her love to all with food. Addie kept her mind young and spry by word search puzzles, and loved to socialize with her friends at the cardiac care center.

A mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Michael the Archangel Church (1 W. Wilhem St.; Schererville, Indiana 46375) at 10:30 am with Fr. Martin J. Dobrzynski officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 1-6 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375). Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.
