Tony was always a very kind, thoughtful and loving person.  We will always remember him as a terrific neighbor.  Our prayers and condolences to the family.

Tony Maravilla and I taught at Bowen High School in Chicago for over twenty five years.  I shall remember his cheerful demeanor.  My sincere condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Maravilla.  I remember him as such a pleasant and cheerful man growing up next door to the family in South Holland.  My deepest condolences to everyone.

So deeply saddened to learn of Tony's passing.  He was a remarkable person. I will always remember his laughter and sense of humor. May God be with Pat and his family in this time of loss.

It is with heavy heart that we recently learned of the passing of a dear friend from back home.  Tony Maravilla was more of a friend to my older brother Art as they grew up together in South Deering; however, his three younger brothers were closer to me and I valued their friendship then, as I do today.  I remember his late sister Theresa with fondness, and I fully expect that Tony now rejoices in her embrace as well as those of his departed parents.  On behalf of my wife Mary, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to his wife Pat and his beloved children and grandchildren.  My special condolences to his brothers Bobby, David and Louie from an old friend of days long ago.

My parents have been friends with Mr. and Mrs. Maravilla for a great many years. My father has been a member of Mr. Maravilla's "team" of White Sox season ticket holders for more than 30 years. Mr. Maravilla's love for family and the White Sox will be missed, but never forgotten. Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Maravilla family.

Mr. Maravilla, your smile and laugh will forever be in my memory.  I so enjoyed all the great family trips, picnics, dinners and fun I always had with you.  I became your third daughter many times and you always made me feel welcome.  I hope you are at rest now.  You are very missed and loved!

I was one of Mr. Maravilla's students many years ago at Bowen. I remember what a kind and encouraging teacher he was. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
