Antonio Gonzalez

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Carol "Lupe" (nee Rodriguez) Gonzalez; his son, Anthony (Doris) Gonzalez; his daughters, Susan (Bill) Doran, Elizabeth (Jesse) Mora, and Laura (Juan) Moran; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Hope Garcia and Mary Lou Castenada; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Camila Gonzalez; and his brothers.

Antonio retired after 35 years of dedicated service to Western and Southern Insurance Company as an insurance sales representative. He was a WWII United States Navy Veteran and a Korean War United States Army Veteran. Antonio will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Antonio will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:30 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 am at Holy Name Catholic Church, 11000 West 133rd Avenue, Cedar Lake, IN 46303. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
