Barbara A. Herr, age 69, passed away on April 18, 2012. She is survived by her loving daughter, Tina (Dan) Wade and son, Alan Herr; siblings: Kathy Jendreas, Walter (Tammy) Sobczak, Ronald (Sue Parker) Sobczak, Debbie (Bruce) Miles, Karen Whitington and Cindy Landress. Barb was a loved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mary Gomez and Walter Sobczak and one sister, Phyllis Romano.
Barb loved cats and having get-togethers. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 , 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN) Officiating Reverend Doug Klukken.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
