Charles "Bill" Markham, age 89, of Crown Point passed away March 19, 2014. Beloved husband to the late Eleanor; loving father of Carolyn (James) Goodall and Perry (Patti) Markham; cherished grandfather of Jim Goodall, Michael Goodall, Carla (Dan Buckley) Markham, Nick (Marlena) Markham and the late Phillip Markham; adored by four great grandchildren. Bill was a proud Marine who served in World War II where he earned the Purple Heart Medal; he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. both to take place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN 46375.
